So, today has been an absolutely crazy day. Actually, from the time I got home from school until now has been.....insane. I don't really feel like getting into all that, though. Not fun. Here's my question....how important is volleyball really?? I mean, seriously....
Jan always says after Pontotoc loses a big game and all the boys go crazy and post ridiculous facebook statuses and act stupid, "Sports are not eternal." That is true. Volleyball. Baseball. Swimming. Basketball. Tennis. Football. All of that....is crap. Yes, they may be fun. They are a way to use your God-given abilities to worship him....if you use those abilities appropriately....but sports has absolutely no eternal significance. So why is it all so important?? Volleyball....making the team....winning State Championship....pointless. Those things mean nothing to God. So, I think we should all....myself included....focus less on volleyball, and sports in general, and focus more on the things GOD thinks are important. After the last 2 days....I'm trying....
Those are just my thoughts to be....thinking about....I guess. I don't really know. I think I just needed to tell myself all that. Hopefully yall got SOMETHING from this post..
