PARTY!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow night will be a party.  For real.  Me, Fizz, Zozz, and Kat!!!!  Yesssss.  Slumber party!!  Sooooo pumped!!  For real.  Geez.  We are going to watch the oh so AMAZING Rozzo, Holli, and Nate in the senior play as well tomorrow night!!  THEN, Saturday, we're going to watch Cam and Bray play tennis.  This weekend excites me greatly.  It can't come fast enough.  Which is odd, considering it feels like a Monday to me.  Today, Kat was talking about how she had a project due on Tuesday....and I was like, oh snap, tomorrow??  She gave me a really weird look.  Then I remembered today is Thursday.  Haha.  Oops.  Anyways, I'm pumped.  I guess that can be my SUPER cool thing of the day.  My lovely weekend plans with my sissies.  I have the absolute coolest friends ever.  EVER.  Even if half of them are going to prom Saturday.... :p  Anyways, back to HAPPY thoughts....PARTY tomorrow!!!!  :)

I just really like this picture.  It makes me happy.  Cute little bear!!  Haha.

This picture is in honor of my lovely best friends who will be part of my party tomorrow night.  :)

For Zozzy and her cute little kid self!!

This picture is in honor of Kat.  And back in the beginning of THS when I hated life....and high school.  This was the beginning of Macs.  When we could still have them out at lunch.  Oh I love her.  She got me through the first 2 months of 9th grade.  I'm not exactly sure if she knows that though..

This is why she's my favorite.  Hahaha.

And this last picture is for Fizzle.  And her incredibly AMAZING, fantastic photography skills.  I love the awkwardness of my feet slightly tilted inward.  Hahaha.  I love Fizz and Zozz.  So much.

I'm so ready for tomorrow.  It WILL be a fantastic day.  For sure.  :)

Today's Cool Thing.

I'm trying to think of a cool thing about today.  Honestly, there is nothing cool about today. Here is my life right now.  It kind of sucks.  Cameron Timmons.  Protesting.  Stupid kids.  35 minute long presentations that students learned absolutely nothing from.  An unhappy Coach Stafford.  A life lecture.  A health test tomorrow.  No book obsession.  A Spanish test tomorrow.  Most likely a miserable volleyball workout.  A "lack of institutional control" as Coach Stafford said.  Late carpools.  My life.

Cool Thing of the Day

I was inspired by Kat to make posts (almost) everyday called "Cool Thing of the Day"....

Sooo, today's cool thing is............60% days at school!!!!  I love 60% days!!  They are lovely.  We get out at 11:45 today!!  This is so exciting.  I plan on finishing homework, then going to sleep from 2 until like 4. Hahaha.  I'm such a wimp.  Anyways, I'm pretty pumped.  We are only going to each class for 20 minutes today!!  That is fantastic.  So, that's my COOL THING OF THE DAY!!!!  :)
<><

And this is a cool picture that has absolutely NOTHING to do with 60% days.  But I like it.  And it is cool.  Therefore, I'm going to post it anyways..

The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games.  Best book EVER.  I am freaking in love.  You should ALL go read The Hunger Games.  I just finished the second book, Catching Fire, and I'm dying for the third book.  I finished the first book in about 30-something hours.  I finished this one in about the same amount of time.  These books are amazing.  I love them.  For real.  Peeta is my favorite person ever.  If I've ever had a "book crush"....it would most definitely be on Peeta.  (Edward Cullen is probably on my list of possible "book crushes" as well.  I'm a loser.  Don't judge me.)  Anyways, Peeta is incredible.  Katniss really frustrated me in parts of the book.  I'm on Team Peeta.  I'd never be on Team Gale.  Ever.  That team just repulses me.  Anyways, supposedly the movie is coming out this year or something??  I was told about it when I was halfway done with The Hunger Games on Friday.  Basically, I love these books.  They are pretty much consuming my life at the moment.  You should all go read them.  I love you. :)

Braces..

I went to the orthodontist yesterday.  They put a new wire in.  It is tight as crap.  I feel like I'm dying.  My mouth didn't even hurt this bad when I got my braces put on!!  Ridiculous.  Life sucks at the moment.  Ha.  And I'm still coughing.  Now, I'm done complaining.  Sorry about that.
My sister sent me a quote thing from her devotional this morning.  It was about patience.  I'm sitting in geometry at the moment, so I can't get my phone out to look at it.  Here is basically what it said though....Patience is doing nothing.  When you are angered by something, resist it inwardly, and do NOTHING outwardly.  Even if that resistance is only for a second, it is time enough to pray and think clearly.  That is patience.
I'm trying to relate that to my awful braces and my incredibly pained mouth.  I have multiple options here....

  • I can complain to everyone and be miserable because it freaking hurts.  A lot.
  • I can suck it up and stop whining because there's nothing I can do about it.  (Suffer in silence.)
  • I can be patient and talk to God about it because he understands the pain.  The soreness will go away with time.  So, patience is the key in this situation.
Now, I feel really cool because I just related a really deep, serious devotional topic to something as small and trivial to braces.  Ha.  I like relating God things to small stuff though.  It reminds me that I can see Him anywhere if I just look.  That reminds me of another thing.  Today, I was sitting in geometry (being miserable because my mouth) and we  were about to work on homework.  I was being lazy and really didn't want to get up to get a book, but I knew I had to.  I was writing down our assignment, preparing myself to stand up and go get a book.  Then, Penelope brought me a book and went back to get another one for herself.  That is something so small.  I saw God through her today.  Another small situation this week when I saw God was on Monday afternoon walking to the gym for volleyball in 8th period.  Kat and I were walking behind a guy (maybe a year or two older than us) into the gym.  He was about to walk in the door before us, and we were about to reach for the door handle.  He saw us and stopped.  He opened the door and held it open for us.  Some people could say that's just being polite and nice.  Maybe so, but I saw God through him that day.  I don't even know who he is.  I hope that I can be the place were someone who doesn't even know me sees God.  Did that statement even make sense??  I hope so.  So, that's my life.

Mythology.

I absolutely hate mythology.  It is stupid stories that aren't true.  I don't believe it anyways, so why do we have to learn it??  We are in English, not Mythology class.  Geez.  It is so stressful when teachers give you a project the day you come back from spring break that is due in 5 days .  Especially when it means you have to read 100 something pages of myths and take notes and write vocabulary all in the first 2 days.  Plus, making a quiz, a keynote, coming up with class discussion questions, and a visual.  Then, having to present ALL of that on Friday.  Oh, and I forgot to mention that we don't get to work on this thing in class with our groups except for maybe a few minutes on Thursday.  So not cool.  Just throwin that out there.

Misunderstood.

I was just at lunch telling Kat and Emily about my lovely spring break.  I was telling them about waking up at 5 in the morning and working for 7 hours.  A girl across the table looked at me and said, "Wow, you must not have had a very good spring break."  I looked at her and I was like....umm....no, actually, it was great.  I feel like by talking about the hard times of the week, it sounded like I was complaining.  Yes, the work we did was difficult and incredibly frustrating sometimes.  I felt like crap for the most part of the week.  No, waking up that early isn't ideal for a fantastic spring break.  But, last week was one of the most amazing weeks EVER.  Maybe I didn't explain that well enough at lunch.  It really was great.  Emily was just telling me about going to SIFAT last week.  She said she wants to go this summer.  I said I love it, and that'd be great.  She said last week at SIFAT was kind of miserable at times, but it was really great.  That totally makes sense to me.  Yeah, we worked hard and struggled last week.  There were times when I cried even.  But I'd go back to it any day.  I feel like that when I go to SIFAT as well.
I think that is similar to working for God.  Serving God is hard.  It is a constant struggle.  Sometimes it hurts.  It is extremely difficult to LIVE for God.  But it is so worth it.  When you think back on those times, you know without a doubt that it is the best time of your life.  You wouldn't change it for the world.
I wouldn't change anything about last week.  It was hard.  It was great.  I loved it.

Mountaintop Experience

Over spring break, I went on a mission trip with my youth group.  We went to Louisville, Kentucky and worked at a mission.  It was called Wayside Christian Mission.  While we were there....

  • We served breakfast at 6am twice.
  • We served lunch 4 times.
  • I saw God.  A lot.
  • I learned a lot.
  • We went to the Louisville Slugger museum.
  • We went to the Muhammed Ali museum.  (I slept the whole way through that one.  For real.)
  • We had a tampon lesson for the boys on our van.  Lovely.
  • We went to the park.
  • We got hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts.  $71 worth to be exact....
  • We made new friends at the mission.
  • Mike learned my name on Tuesday and felt the need to scream it across the room (and all the people eating) a LOT.
  • I picked up trays.
  • Janie washed dishes.
  • Camden experienced his first youth trip.
  • I got a cold.
  • Mama got sick and didn't go to work, so she could sleep.
  • Everyone ELSE got my cold, too.
  • I learned how to Drop it like its Hot.  Hahaha.
  • I learned how to Whip my Hair back and forth.
  • Sam interrogated Emily about Cameron.
  • We debated theme songs for the week: Whip My Hair, Body Language, Firework.
  • Carson decided the real theme song was Drop it like its Hot.
  • The "We Have Emily Van" was the BEST.
  • My van listened to the SAME 5 songs the WHOLE week!!!!
  • Brandon became my new best friend.
  • I learned EVERY freaking word to the song Forget You.
  • Baby Bray learned what the word "frisky" means.
  • Roger taught Brayden that frisky is cat litter.
  • Me and Cam celebrated our 1 year friendaversary.
  • We ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
  • My table at the Old Spaghetti Factory consisted of Sam and his family. (13 children.  4 of the children were dating.  His wife was also his daughter.  His first wife died in the Holocaust.  She stared over us as we ate.  For real.)
  • We ate with our new friends at the mission Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
  • We toured a cathedral.
  • We changed the color of the walls at the mission when we cleaned them.
  • Sam passed out doughnuts.  Everyday.
  • We served a lot of food.
  • We ALL learned how incredibly fashionable hair nets and plastic gloves are.
  • We heard countless times that Janie is NOT a people person.
  • I figured out that my mother and I are way more alike than I thought.
  • Jan and I don't enjoy talking to people we don't know.
  • Camden was hard to get along with.
  • Alex did our devotional Monday night.
  • Alex was very violent.  ALL WEEK.
  • Sam got 23 more disney songs on his ipod!!
  • Mama, Taylor, Carson, and I wore our new matching jackets with the thumb hole things!!
  • We saw Becky and Dana.  And Jim and Chris and Ellen and the kids.
  • We woke up at 5am (which felt like 3 because the time change and the different time zone)
  • We all had incredible God moments.
  • I saw (again) how amazingly selfless Cameron Timmons REALLY is.
  • I played with little kids.
  • I discovered the effects of my new hair cut.
  • The 2-4 year old daycare kids decided to give me a make over.
  • The 2-4 year old daycare kids decided to give Krevious a make over.
  • I saw how great Krevious is with kids.
  • I washed windows with Jan.
  • Cam switched jobs with me and let me play with the 1 year olds.
  • I watched people sweep and mop the dirty floor with dirty brooms and mops approximately 5 times in 2 hours.
  • I ate oreos and peanut butter.  It felt like the parent trap.
  • The group enjoyed playing basketball every night in the gym.
  • Cameron got 2 volleyballs stuck on the balcony in the gym....in 10 minutes.
  • Dayquil and Nyquil saved us all.
  • There was a "Shock pile" when we got back and were unloading.  It was great.
  • We missed Addison.
  • We loved people.
  • We loved each other.
  • We got closer.
  • We went to Cracker Barrel on the way home.  Of course.
  • I slept about 6 of the 8ish hours on the ride home.
  • We toured Becky's house.
  • We spent over $100 on ice cream Thursday night.
  • We had 7 hour work days, waking up at 5, and staying awake for 20 hours after.
  • I learned that getting up for school isn't REALLY that early.
  • We watched the people at the mission slowly start to trust us and open up to us.
  • I saw amazing things.
  • My baby brother argued with a man about our incredible Creator's existence.
  • The trip was fantastic.
  • We had a mountaintop experience.
A "mountaintop experience" is a time when you see God.  You don't want to come down from the mountain.  You want to stay with God.  None of us wanted to leave on Friday morning.  I'm at school right now.  I would SOOO much rather be in Louisville, Kentucky cleaning or cooking or washing or playing or working or serving.  I'd give anything to go back.  Even if it meant I had to get up at 5 in the morning EVERYday.  I want to go back up on the mountain.  I'm still trying to figure out how to find God here at school.  I saw Him so much through the homeless people and the workers and the amazing people at the mission last week.  It is so much harder to see God HERE.  At home.  I feel like no one understands.  Today a girl asked me about my spring break.  I tried to explain.  She still didn't get it.  I don't know what else to do to make people understand the amazingness of God and how awesome is really is to SERVE Him.  I don't know what else to do at this point.
On my hand today I have a cross in the same place it always it to remind me that Jesus died on a cross  SOO long ago for ME.  Next to the cross, today, I have a question mark.  When I look at that it reminds me to ask myself...."Where do you see Jesus?"  Every night on the trip last week, we would have group time and discuss where we saw Jesus EACH day.  It was so easy to point out specific times.  I saw Jesus in the face of the little boy whose face absolutely lit up when I held his hand.  He was 2 years old.  He taught me so much.  He was the same one who ran up to me and screamed "HI" in my face as soon as I walked in the room.  I saw Jesus in him.  A 2 year old little boy at a daycare in a mission in Louisville, Kentucky.  It was so easy, simple to SEE Jesus without even trying to LOOK for him.  Now, though, I'm in Tupelo at school, SEARCHING for Jesus.  It is hard to see Him.  I'm looking though.  And I'm trying to be the Jesus that someone else is looking for today.

Shout out to Mae!!

Mae-Emlyn told me today in a very distraught manner that I never mentioned her in my blog.  Oops.  I thought she was on my list of random stuff.  Sooo.....this is my shout out to Mae post!!  I love you!!  :)

This is ALSO my post for "before" and "after" pictures of my haircut....sooo....here we go....
This is Kat pulling my hair back to see how short it would be....haha.
This is the "before" picture....
And after....
YAY for no more mop hair!!!!  :)

You like??  Please comment and let me know!!  :)

Emily Hink.

So, since Emily's first (and ONLY) blog post was about me....I feel the need to take advantage of this free time in advisory and write a lovely post about her as well.  First off, I'd like to inform you about her incredible-ness.  She is great.  Today at lunch she told me that watching Food Network was a very NONloserish thing to do.  I was very excited to hear that.  I enjoy watching Food Network on a fairly regular basis.  Haha.  Emily ALSO is to blame for my new flood it obsession.  A few weeks ago, during of the many workless and boring days in Spanish, Emily was on a website playing Flood It!!  I recognized it because I've played on Sam and Alex's phones before....so I looked at the website and played a game or two.  I am not good at this game at all.  Well, up until today during health, I'd completely forgotten about the game.  I was sitting in class, miserably bored, and I suddenly remembered Flood It!!  I played nonstop for about an hour.  Thanks Emily.  Ha, for real though.  I would have been TERRIBLY bored if you hadn't shown me the game that one time in Spanish.  Ha.  And now........
                         RANDOM COOL FACTS ABOUT EMILY!!!!

  • Emily likes cows.  I think.  (See, Kat got a stuffed cow that didn't have spots on it, a few weeks ago as a very late Christmas present from Zozz....and Emily said she liked cows.  I think..)
  • Emily is a cookie monster.  The coolest cookie monster EVER.
  • Emily likes to "borrow" people's things.  These people don't always know she's "borrowing" their stuff though.  But, she eventually returns the stuff.  Which, is good considering what she COULD do with the stuff she's "borrowed"..
  • Emily likes food.  That's a good quality in a person.  She doesn't have an eating disorder.  YAY!!
  • Emily may or may not have failed her Spanish exam.  That is good because that means she might have done GREAT!!
  • Emily is going to SIFAT next week!!  I'm kind of pumped. :)
  • Emily knows Fizzy.  Those are 2 freaking amazing people.  Coolness.  For real.
  • Emily is not playing "the game."  That means she can't get points off of me. That is very good because I'm not good at "the game."
  • Emily is freaking awesome and watches Food Network!!!!  I already mentioned that....but I felt the need to say it again.
  • Emily has a blog.  It has turtles on it.  I like turtles.
  • Emily is cool.  She is the definition of coolNESS, awesomeNESS, intenseNESS, fantasticNESS, incredibleNESS, funnyNESS, craziNESS, sweetNESS, and EmilyNESS in the dictionary.  You should look up all those words for yourself.  Her picture is right next to them....ALL of them.  Yeah.  Real life.
  • Emily wore flip flops today even though it is "freezing."  She is one tough cookie.  For real.
  • Emily frequently wears supercool bows and/or headbands in her hair.  I like bows and/or headbands.
Emily is cool.  The end. :)

ONE MORE!!!!

I have ONE more exam.  Biology.  It SHOULD be easy.  I took the practice for it on Haiku 5 times.  My average was 98.  I think I'll survive that exam in 6th period.  Ha.  Oh, and I have 11 more geometry problems on that exam....but oh well.  I don't think I've done very well on that exam anyways.  SIX HOURS until spring break!!!!  I'm SOOOOO pumped!!!!  We leave in 2 days for the Kentucky trip :)

Since everyone in the WHOLE WORLD seems to have recently blogged about random lists....I'm going to conform and do the same.  (I'm not entirely sure if I used the work "conform" correctly....but I like it....so oh well.)

More Names....

Kennedy was the 74th most popular girl baby name in 2010!!  Geez.  Anyways, I have a new favorite to add to my BABY NAMES!!!!  List....Evelyn.

Brayden was the 14th most popular boys baby name!!  Cameron was #37!!  Number 57 was Alex!!  Nathaniel was #85....which is basically the same thing as Nathan.  Sam was #100!!  The crew has popular names....or at least in 2010 they did.  Oh, and Anna was #28 on the list of girls.  That can count for me AND Holli.  :)

Katherine was #71.  Megan was #92.  Taylor was #47.  Elizabeth was #25.  Alexis was #33.  I think it is fairly funny and interesting how in 2009 Isabella and Jacob were the 2 top baby names, and in 2010 they were the 2nd top baby names.  Anyone obsessed with vampires??  Hahaha.  I like the name Isabella and Bella, but it would remind me too much of Twilight....

So, I'm on a website reading an article about "How to Pick a Name"....I'm on the Christmas inspirations page now.  One of the names listed is Tree.  Who would name their kid Tree??  For real??  Real life??  There is also Cookies on the same list.  Love is also on the list....so is Wish.  Northelyn is also on the list.  That one is different.  I kind of like it though.

Now I'm on the Inspired by Colors page.  Has anyone heard of someone named Cinnamon??  Really??  Apparently Kelly is a color of green.  Who knew??  Haha.  I totally want to name my kid Magenta after the girl on Blue's Clues!!  Haha, not really.  But I do love her.

Inspired by the Wild West....Maybelle.  I like it.  Carson, Sam, and Travis are also on the list.  Haha.

And now....I REALLY REALLY need to study for my Geography exam.  I also need to study Geometry....but oh well.  I plan on failing anyways....so yeah.  Toodles for now!!

Exam Week..

I'm sitting on my bed at the moment, studying for my geography exam.  It is on Thursday.  Today is Tuesday.  We have youth tomorrow night, so I won't have much time to study.  I think I'm quite possibly might fail.  Oh, and I got SOOOO confused on the geometry study guide.  I don't even want to look at my questions for Romeo and Juliet.  That is the only exam I have tomorrow, but I'm delaying my studying for that as much as possible.  That probably isn't a very good thing to delay....but too bad.  I have a 102 in that class.  I think I'll at least pass....even if I don't do so great on the exam.  I'm so stressed out about all of this. Every time exam week comes around....I want to go crawl in a hole.  It is just craziness.  ALLL week.  It is quite a miserable 5 days.
Here's what I'm trying to remind myself....exams don't determine my salvation.  Failing an exam won't make God love me any less than he ALREADY does.  At the same time, making a 100 on EVERY exam won't make Him love me anyMORE.  Exams, quite simply, aren't as big of a deal that we make them out to be.  Another thing I'm trying to remind myself....exam week doesn't excuse me from my responsibilities as a Christian.  I might need to study a little more than usual, and I might not be able to hang out with friends as much for these short 5 days.  This is also one of the most stressful weeks of the year, but that doesn't mean I'm not still supposed to be loving and working for Christ.  I'm trying to keep all these things in mind as I sit here and TRY to concentrate and study.  My little brother walked in my room and was being annoying a few minutes ago....I yelled at him.  Even if I have a lot to do and I'm tired, that isn't acceptable.  I guess my big POINT in all this is....exams suck, but they don't really have ANY eternal significance.  Remember that.  I'm trying..

Coolest thing ever. EVER.

So I'm sitting in Spanish.  Emily comes in and tells me she likes my bag/ purse thing.  Then she sits down next to me and says she likes my bracelet.  She asks where I got both.  I said I think they came from Ecuador or Guatemala or something.  She asked how I got them.  I said I got them from a camp called SIFAT.  (Normally when I say that people look at my like I'm stupid and/ or ask what that is.  Sometimes they tell me is sounds like a "fat camp.")  I was fully prepared for the questions that would soon follow my response about SIFAT.  Instead of questions though, Emily said something along the lines of...."Oh my gosh!!  I'm going there over spring break with my youth group!!"  Apparently, they are going to Ecuador this summer and are going to SIFAT to learn how to purify water.  That is freaking cool!!  I just texted Addison and Carson about it.  Addy said he knows what group it is.  I'm so freaking excited right now.  Why??  I LOOOOVE SIFAT.  For real.  It is my favorite place in the world.  The best thing ever.  A lot of the time, I feel like NO ONE knows about SIFAT.  I talk about it, and they think it is crazy.  Now that I know that people from my SCHOOL are GOING.  Ahhh!!!!  I'm so pumped.  I think that was definitely a God thing.  :)

Laura Gray. :)

Laura Gray.  Genius.  (I just had to look up the word genius because I didn't know how to spell it.  I'm cool.)  Anyways, we just presented an English project about Romeo and Juliet.  We had to interview 10 people and make different questions for each of them.  I, of course, interviewed the crew.  Ha.  She interviewed a few people as well.  Another girl in our class was also in our group and asked a few others.  Well, Laura made the Photo Booth interviews into an iMovie.  It is freaking incredible!!  I'm technology stupid, so I would NEVER be able to figure out how to do ANY of that stuff.  She made our video amazing. :)  All 4 minutes and 13 seconds of it.  The bloopers were also incredible.  Haha, Laura Gray....amazing.  The end.

Baseball Bats.

My brother hit me with a baseball bat last week because I beat him when we were playing basketball.  Then, Tuesday night he hit me again.  Slightly different scenario, but the same basics of the story.  He got mad and swung the bat at me multiple times.  I tried to dodge it.  I also tried to get the bat away from him.  Well, instead of successfully removing the bat from HIS hands....he hit mine.  I have a bruise on the side of my hand.  (I had a bruise on my leg for a while last week.)  Well, we played a game at youth last night where you have to hold hands and stand in a circle.  This game also involves pulling each other.  My pinky finger was numb after the game.  I figured it was related to my baseball bat bruise.  It finally came back and wasn't numb anymore.  Now I'm sitting in geography about to go take my Biology common assessment.  My pinky is numb again.  This scares me.  Maybe Camden hit a nerve when he hit me with the baseball bat.  I'm scared.  I don't want my pinky to be numb forever. :(  This reminds me of Kat's finger mystery.  Geez.  My life..

Determined Misery....

Do you ever have days when you're just determined to be miserable??  I know that sounds crazy....I mean, it isn't like you WANT to have a bad day when you just feel like crap the whole time.  That is just sad.  But, do you ever have days that start off and you just don't feel GREAT....so you just don't make any effort to make it a good day??  I call that determined misery.  It means you are basically determined to have a bad day because of some small, stupid reason.  Well, yall might think I'm crazy.  I probably am.  I bet no one reading this has EVER  had a bad day like that before.  It happened to me yesterday, though, so I'm going to tell you about it.

First off, I am a wimp.  I am a needy, dependent, selfish, wimp.  Basically.  So on Sunday night I was all upset.  Cameron (and everyone else in Pontotoc) was going to the basketball game in Jackson yesterday.  Then, Cam said he had a tennis match (in Corinth) today.  Last week, everybody was at beta convention on Monday and Tuesday.  So, Sunday night I was all sad and upset because I wouldn't see anybody.  Then, I woke up on Monday morning and felt the same way.  Though, it was a tad worse because I didn't sleep much the night before because I was all upset.  So yesterday morning I got up, was sad, felt like crap, was sleep deprived, and it was Monday.  It didn't look like it was going to be a good day.  Honestly, since I knew that, I didn't attempt to make it any better.  I could have easily had a good day and talked and laughed with my friends.  Instead, I decided to focus on all the negative things that happened yesterday.  For example, I was told by my parents I got out at 1, when really Camden did.  I got out at regular time.  I decided to be all unhappy about that instead of being excited that we didn't do anything in volleyball and I finished my homework.  So, I was just determined to be unhappy.  By doing that, I made other people feel awful and miserable too.  I know I made Cameron feel like that, even though I never intended to.  I think I probably made Kat feel bad too.  She was at least really annoyed with me by the end of the day.  Anyways, I got up this morning and decided I was going to have a better day.

I think THAT is the problem with people not having good days.  I you TRY to have a good day and focus on the positive things, then it'll be great.  If you just think about how awful you feel, then you are miserable.  Think about that next time you think you're having a bad day.  Technically, it is your own fault.  There is ALWAYS something positive to think about.  Here's one thing: God loves you.  He sent his son to die for YOU.  Yeah, and I love you.  Today is going to be a good day. :)
