Today is my mom's birthday. At the moment, I'm not very happy with her. She told me that we got out of school at 1 today. When actually, we get out at regular time....and Pontotoc gets out at 1. Apparently, my dad is stupid and thought it was Tupelo that called last night instead of Pontotoc. Losers....
Pontotoc has a basketball game in Jackson tonight. Tomorrow they have an away tennis match. Wednesday, all of band will be gone. They won't be at youth. Thursday, Pontotoc has ANOTHER tennis match. I think it is home though. This week will suck. I will have no life. Yay.
Anyways, today is my mom's birthday. Cameron and I went to Walmart and got some small present stuff for her. I'm going to talk my dad into taking us to eat tonight (hopefully). Then, I'll make her a cake when we get home. Today hasn't been a very good day.
The end.

Sunday Morning :)
So, this weekend....I watched a lot of volleyball, ate a LOT of food, sat in the car for long periods of time, watched Kindergarten Cop, spent time with my best friends (and their parents), and I saw God a lot. It was great.
This morning I went to church with Zozz and her family. They go to the Orchard. My church is very small and traditional and it is just one of those small town churches where everyone sits on the same pew every Sunday. The Orchard is HUGE and very contemporary and different from my own Sunday morning experiences. I love my church, and I was nervous about going to a different one today. It was great though. I miss the worship songs. They sang my favorite SIFAT song from last year (Our God), and I almost went crazy. I miss that type of music in church. We sing hymns at my church. I've gotten used to traditional services, and I like ours. I really enjoyed the music and the different atmosphere of Zozzy's church this morning though. Also, we were singing the songs and I could hear Justin (her little brother who is in 6th grade) sitting next to me singing. It was incredible. Then, when we sat down to listen to the scripture for the day, he got his Bible out and he looked up all the verses. I saw God SOO much through him in just the hour we were sitting in church. It was pretty amazing. He doesn't know how much that effected me. All of you probably don't understand it either, but it was just....awesome to me. A little 12 year old boy singing so loud and clear to our incredible, everlasting God. I was inspired. At 12 years old, I don't think I'd look up every verse in my Bible, either. It made me think about how I can see God through the smallest things at the most unexpected times. It was so cool. I also saw God when me and Fizz and Zozz were taking pictures by the lake Friday night. The sun was setting, and it was so beautiful. God is freaking amazing. He made the sun shine yesterday when we were outside eating in between volleyball games. :) He truly is absolutely....INCREDIBLE. The end.

Zozzy :)
Sooo....I'm at Zozzy's house now. We just looked at 12 zillion pictures and videos on Paco (my MacBook)!! They were lovely. Zozz thinks my fantastic mother, Jan is the funniest person EVER. Today, I realized that I'm an epic fail at life....I didn't know I was supposed to meet Zozzy's brother at his classroom after school, so I went to the parking lot. I planned on looking for him on the way there, but I never saw him. So I was worried I wouldn't be able to find their car. Well, I saw the van and debated for like 10 minutes whether it was her mom or not. Her little brother then rolled the window down, and I saw him. I was thinking, "crap, she totally saw me and now I look stupid." So I go over to the car and apparently, her older brother (that thought I was meeting him) wasn't there. He was still waiting for me. So, his mom texted him. Anyways, then I felt bad. And stupid. Later, we dropped her brothers off at her house, and then went to the mall to get a rain jacket for her birthday!! After that, Fizzy came over and we took pictures by the lake. :) It was great fun. Except for the fact that my feet froze because I took my Chacos off. I'm not a smart kid. Anyways, you can go to Fizzle's blog for the pictures. It is thebravelittleposter.blogspot.com. We ate dinner with her family, and then we ate ice cream cake....that was mostly ice cream. She LOOVED her gift (or so she says). It was the book Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. You should ALL go read it. And now, we are about to watch a movie and go to sleep!! We are leaving at 6 tomorrow morning for volleyball!! Party. :) This is us....
And again....LOVE this one....
Toodles for now :)

Drama....
Drama- an exciting, emotional, or unexpected series of events or set of circumstances
Drama is a part of high school. Very much so. Drama is a part of life. I guess we all have to deal with that fact. I, personally, think that drama is completely stupid and pointless and annoying. I was just sitting at lunch with a girl who was chewing this other guy out about her reputation or something....it was ridiculous. I don't understand groups of friends who enjoy being dramatic and complicated. People who START drama and purposefully continue it just frustrate me. Why upset people and cause problems?? I don't understand. I am baffled. Honestly, I don't understand drama at all. It just confuses me. I think it is stupid.
The end.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was simply no point to that post about drama. I just felt the need to write about it because Kat and I were discussing it earlier. Now, I'm going to write about another lunch topic for the day.....
The 10 Commandments....my new favorite thing. Exodus 20....read it. Katherine are I were talking about not wanting what other people have. The Bible says "Do not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor." We thought about it because another girl was bugging this other guy about wanting some kind of food from his tray. That is just a little, tiny example. My point in saying that isn't to be hypocritical and point out other people's flaws. My point in saying all that is to share with you that at different times we ALL want things that other people have. I know I do that all the time. I just long for stupid, unimportant material things that have absolutely NO eternal significance. Why do we want other people's STUFF?? We have enough of our own. Actually, we have TOO MUCH of our own. I haven't thought about this whole coveting thing in a long time. I'm not sure if I've ever thought of it like this before. Coveting what belongs to someone else, similar to drama, is stupid and pointless. God has provided everything we NEED. So, we should stop WANTING what he blessed other people with. I need to take a look around at what he's given ME (instead of other people), and then I need to stop and thank Him for it. That's another thing to think about....

Time??
For some reason, my time is all messed up. My last post said I wrote it at 5:05am....but I wrote it at 8:05am. Sooo....that is incredibly misleading. For all of yall who read my blog, just add 3 hours to each time. K, thanks. :)
Here is a picture that I LOOOVE of me and Fizz and Zozz. I feel that it is appropriate to add since I'll be with BOTH of them tomorrow.

Let me just say, the weather yesterday throughout the day was absolutely fantastic. It was....warm....and very odd. It almost felt like tornado weather, though not quite that hot and muggy. I love that kind of weather. It rained in the morning, and I LOOOVE rain. So, I was very excited about it. I like the way the atmosphere feels before it storms. To me, it feels like the pressure and the tension are just building and building and building....it's great. I don't know why I enjoy this type of weather. I guess I'm just a weird kid. Basically....
Anyways, the weather last night wasn't as enjoyable. Honestly, it was quite frightening. The good thing about the storm last night was that the really bad part came through and left fairly quickly. The wind was absolutely ridiculous though!! Our chairs on our patio blew across the yard, and our wind chimes were furiously hitting the house!! The sirens never went off though, so that was good. They never went off in Pontotoc anyways....supposedly the did in Tupelo. BUT, no one was hurt....so we're all good.
I wish it would rain again....
FRIDAY!!!!
Today is Friday!!!! I'm SOOO excited. Today I am going to Zozzy's house!!!! Then, tomorrow I'm going to her volleyball tournament!! I get to see Fizz there!! I plan on creepily following her brother to their car after 8th period. It'll be great. I'm pretty pumped. I'm also pumped about her birthday present!! Ahhh!!!! I'll tell yall what it is tomorrow....after she gets it tonight!! I'll also let you know if she likes it. :)
In English today, we are working on group projects....but there's nothing really our group can do because we are doing a video interview thing. Therefore, I shall continue to sit here and blog to all of yall who actually read my blog. Ha. I think today will be a good day....even if I do have a Biology test and a math quiz. I'll survive. I'll post again later!!

Motivation.
Sorry yall, I blog WAAAYYY too much. I tried to limit myself to 2 posts a day, but I'm sitting in geography at the moment. I am incredibly bored, and I need motivation to continue taking notes. I have this class, Biology (booooo), Geometry (bigger BOOOOO), and volleyball workouts. I think we MIGHT be playing volleyball today though. I hope so. Anyways, after ALL that stuff....I get to go home and eat chips. I need motivation now though. Ohhh my....
Now I will list random facts about life..
Now I will list random facts about life..
- My fingernails and toenails are painted blue.
- Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world in terms of land area.
- Men's brains are 10% larger than women's.
- Women use BOTH sides of their brain to complete tasks. Men only use one side. That is why women can multi-task easier.
- I am now sitting in Biology.
- Katherine is crazy. :)
- I love Kat.
- Today, I am wearing the bracelet Cam gave me.
- I am hungry.
- I am not hungry, actually, I am just bored.
- I have a Biology test tomorrow.
- Transcription occurs in the nucleus of the cell.
- We get out of school in 2.5 hours!!
Goodbye for now..
Forgetful....
I suddenly remembered I was supposed to blog about 2 stories from yesterday....
- The first is about Emily Hink. She was distracted while walking down the stairs yesterday on the way to 7th period, and she almost broke her ankle!! Supposedly....she was looking at the missing steps at the top of the stairs and then she stepped down on the wrong part of her foot. She told me the story when we got to the hallway, and I said I'd blog about this tragic event.
- The next story, is about Fizzy. We had a phone date last night (greatness) and she was telling me a story about how she lost $20 in her underwear last week. This sounds interesting....and it is. VERY. She was at the mall with Zozzy last weekend, and she bought food or something. Then, she put her money in her pocket (or so she thought) and couldn't find it later. She kind of freaked out and was worried because she'd lost $20. Later, she ended up laughing because she found it in her underwear. Such a lovely story. For real. Fizz, don't hate me for writing about this story. I had permission....sort of. :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
This is a picture of my best friends ever. They all play volleyball. Kat, Fizz, and Zozz....then I'm in the picture, too. The point of adding the picture....
Today is my best friend's birthday. Her name is Zozzy. Zozzy Zosel. I love her dearly. She is turning 14 today!! That is extremely exciting. I hope her day started off better than mine....
I woke up 4 minutes late. I looked at my phone at 6:51 and jumped out of bed. Then, at 7:00 I had to wake up Mimi and Camden. THEN, I walked in the kitchen at 7:01 to eat my cereal and make my lunch. At 7:02, my ride pulled in the driveway. I thought, crap....I'm still going to eat my cinnamon toast crunch....so she can wait. I hadn't even poured my cereal when the car pulled in. Sooo....I shoved my cereal in my mouth. That didn't do much good though, because I didn't get in the car until 7:09. But, my ride normally arrives around 7:05-7:10. So, it wasn't my fault they had to wait. My morning was crazy. It may not sound like it....but it really was.
Also, we just finished reading Romeo and Juliet in English this morning. That is one of the worst stories ever. Nothing good EVER happens. It is simply a long chain of bad choices and events leading to a lot of people dying. I feel that it has no point.
I am sitting in health. I am about to make a list of the things I need to do today when I get home from school. I have a lot to do. I have homework, a Romeo and Juliet video project, and I'm going to Zozzy's volleyball tournament this weekend, so I have to get ready for that. My parents are currently out of town. Mimi is staying with us. My life is crazy at the moment. I need a nap. I enjoy doing nothing in health. It is my free, chill period.
Now you know my life.... :)

Tornado....Drill??
We just had a tornado "drill"....which is odd because we just had a tornado drill last week. Anyways, the sky is slightly purple-ish at the moment. That is somewhat frightening. I like rain and "bad weather." I'm not some evil kid who likes tornadoes and storms and BAD weather. But, I do enjoy the atmosphere when there is a storm coming. There is tension in the air. I can feel it. It feels like the pressure is just building and building and building. I love it.
Though I enjoy being outside in the "storm atmosphere", I do not enjoy sitting in the hallway on my knees for 10 minutes when I'm supposed to be in health doing absolutely nothing. It scares me to think there might actually be a tornado while I'm at school. I mean, I wouldn't want there to be one when I'm at home either, but I'd much rather be there then at school. Anyways, I'm not even sure if that was a drill or a real tornado scare....either way, it wasn't fun. That's my life at the moment....
And now I'm going to take a Spanish quiz....party.

Great Expectations DONE!!
I am sitting in English at the moment, and I am SOOO extremely excited to announce that I am COMPLETELY done with Great Expectations!!!! I dislike that book. I just finished my major test on it, so now I'm done. It is very exciting. The only motivation I had for reading the book was for Pip and Estella to get together. I decided at the end of the book that they did. Anyways, I wasn't a fan of that book.
Now, I am in health. I have come to the conclusion that I am all of the following: a fixer, a people pleaser, a clinger, and a controller. Here are the health book definitions of these words....
I have recently (about 7 minutes ago) discovered that I am all of these things. I attempt to help other people, even though it rarely works. I am WAY too concerned about what other people think about me. I am very needy and dependent. I am a lot to handle. I need to be taken care of most of the time. Now, there are times when I am completely independent and totally on top of things and fine, but then there are other times when I'm just a wimp. Moving on....I am definitely a control freak. That is a work in progress as well as the whole "love thing." At the moment, I'm thinking about how I don't need other people's approval. I only need God's. I also need to work on standing on my own instead of completely falling on other people. I think prayer can help that problem a lot. Of course, I am attempting to not be so obsessively controlling. I've been working on that for a while though. I think I've improved....a little. Anyways, I don't really know WHY I decided to write about that today, but now you know my life....

Mother Teresa
"In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love."
Mother Teresa, in my opinion, was a freaking genius. She said some of the most inspirational things....EVER. I kind of have a Mother Teresa obsession at the moment. What I've learned from her throughout this "obsession"....is that life is about love. That sounds simple, but it really isn't. Love isn't a word but an action. Love is service. Love is hope. Love is kindness. Love is acceptance. Love is given freely. GOD is love.
I'm still grasping the concepts of love. As I sit in school and some boy behind me annoys the crap out of me, I try to remember that I'm supposed to continue to love him. When I'm walking down the hall to my next class, and I'm shoved into walls because some girl is running like a maniac, I try to remember to love her. When I'm talking to one of my best friends and they completely interrupt me in the middle of a story, I'm tell myself that God loves me when I don't listen to him. So, I'm working on the whole "love thing." Loving people is much harder than it sounds. It is a struggle everyday to CHOOSE to love people. It would be SO much easier to just love yourself and not care about anyone else.
Another thing I've realized about love....
Sometimes, it is sort of simple to love the random people at school that act like jerks all the time. I don't KNOW those people. I see them everyday, but I don't know their lives or what they've been through. Maybe they're in pain or something isn't going so great for them at home. When I think about that, it is a lot easier to love them, even if I don't want to. In saying all that, I think it is easier to love strangers and those people you see but don't necessarily know than it is to love your own family. I don't love my brothers and sisters the way I should. I don't love my friends the way I should. I definitely don't love my parents the way I should. Yes, I love them....but do I act like it? Not nearly enough. That is my new challenge: to love the way God loves. To love unconditionally. To ACTIVELY show God to people. God is love. I want to be more like Him.

Welcome!!
Hey yall!! So, I just talked to one of my friends at lunch about her blog. I decided that instead of writing notes to people at school or looking up stupid jokes or random facts, I'm going to start blogging!! I'm pretty pumped about it. Sooo....this is a blog about the daily adventures of my life. Basically, whatever I feel like posting at any given time. I hope you enjoy reading.... :)
