Sooo....I'll Make a Man Out of You is our motivational theme song for volleyball tryouts. It is pretty much the best song ever. Anyways, we have tryouts again tonight. We are doing circuit AGAIN tonight. At the very beginning. Then we actually get to play volleyball!! After we want to go crawl in a hole and die because of circuit. Anyways, then he said we'll probably go through circuit AGAIN at the very end. Geez. Sometimes, I think Coach Jordan is trying to kill us. Haha.
I'm trying to keep telling myself that volleyball is not important. Like, it really isn't. Or well, it SHOULDN'T be. At the moment, I'm attempting to remember my priorities. I shouldn't be worried about volleyball tryouts right now for 3 reasons....
1. They are tonight, not right now....so there's no use worrying about it NOW.
2. The Bible says "Don't worry about anything, instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done."
3. Even if I don't make the volleyball team this year, it isn't REALLY that important. Volleyball has absolutely NO eternal significance. THAT is what really matters.
So, my goal for today....NOT worry....PRAY about it if I start to worry....try to ENCOURAGE other people....and show people God's love at school. That's my life.
I told my madre about this song and sang it to her!! It was great. (: And lovely Kenny Bear, you have no need to worry. I love you and we are going to have fun tonight at tryouts. Annnd.. we can't forget to sing our song this time!!
